This is module 3 of our 3-module short skills programme, accredited with Services SETA. The Emotional Intelligence (EI) course is designed to equip learners with the skills to effectively manage both their own emotions and the emotions of others in the workplace. Focusing on the core principles of emotional intelligence, learners will explore how self-awareness, empathy, and emotional regulation can enhance interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships. This module delves into techniques for conflict resolution, improving communication and creating a positive work environment, all of which contribute to personal and professional success. Through practical activities and real-world applications, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how emotional intelligence impacts leadership, teamwork, and productivity. By the end of the course, learners will have developed tools to self-assess and improve their emotional intelligence for sustained workplace effectiveness. This course includes training time, PoE workshops, and all required preparation for gain competence for the SETA accreditation.
