In our research, we find that many staff members are suffering from fatigue and at times feel demoralised in dealing with difficult customers, team members, and colleagues. Organizations today are trying to do more with less, further increasing employee workloads and stress. Rapid change and disruption have challenged both individual and collective resilience levels. In these difficult and ever-changing times, it is important for all of us to build and maintain our resilience, self-esteem, and self-confidence to perform consistently at the highest performance standards. This workshop provides the key skills for building resilience to perform at your personal best.
Resilient organisations have teams who rally together on common goals, are open and responsive to the challenges placed before them, and work tirelessly through uncertainty. Intentional efforts towards collective resilience-building strengthens and reinforces individual resilience, signaling to each member of the organisation the importance of incorporating practices that keep them engaged and motivated, and capable of giving their all to what they do — at work and in their personal lives.
Resilience-building is about increasing our individual and collective ability to bounce back from difficulty. It’s what allows us to recover from change or hardship, whether in the workplace or life in general.
In this 1-day or 2 x 3 hour sessions, this workshop we will cover:
- Define the terms Resilience.
- Identify strategies for facing rejection in your daily life.
- Explore a wide range of recharging tactics and resilience-building techniques in the application of EQ to build and maintain your own resilience.
- Develop a positive mindset.
- Use techniques related to adjusting to change, cultivating optimism, and developing good habits to build your self-leadership.
- How to develop resilience and managing energy relates to effective leadership.
- Assume responsibility for your results by understanding who you are, what you want, and how to reach your goals.
- Set up short but impactful resilience rituals and routines to fend off burnout and address challenges.
- Developing new habits in support of your resilience.
- Develop an action plan for building and maintaining resilience.
